In fact, when they started the line in 2005, the layering trend had just taken off – partially as a backlash to the low-rise jeans and mid-riff tops that many designers were pushing. They believed then (as they do now) that women know what looks best on their bodies, and they know what they want in terms of style. This is why they’ve always listened to their customers, incorporating their feedback and suggestions into their lines.
