Brief: Stewards are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Other responsibilities include overall cleanliness and safety of the restaurant, both Back of House and Front of House.
Compensation:
- $15/hr minimum

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Scrap, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
- Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machine and other kitchen equipment
- Empty trash and maintain trash container cleanliness
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and other assistance as needed
- Proper refilling of dish machine when clean solution is soiled
- Proper shutdown procedure of the dish machine, dish pit arena, and kitchen equipment
- Cleaning out drains
- Communicating to leaders of any dish products and/or chemicals needed
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- Bussing Front of House area
- Clearing and replacing bus tubs for Front of House
- Running food to tables as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
- Able to work in a standing position for a long period of time.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly.
- Working knowledge of sanitation procedures.
- Restaurant experience is a plus.
